Wagyu by the Water: A HiHo Cheeseburger Experience in Marina del Rey

If you’re looking for a burger spot that actually lives up to the hype, HiHo Cheeseburger is one that delivers on all fronts. We visited the Marina del Rey location, and the setting alone is a win….right by the marina, with a laid-back coastal vibe that elevates the entire experience. It’s one of those places where the location genuinely enhances the food. Now let’s talk about the burgers. The Wagyu beef is the star here, and you can taste the difference immediately. The flavor is rich, juicy, and has a depth that sets it apart from your typical burger spot. Even better, it’s halal, making it an easy choice for…

Le Burger @ Le Bon Choix

Eating halal only you have to travel sometimes to get the quality of food you feel is deserving of your palette. I found Le Bon Choix from a food blogger’s post. I went with my wife and kids. From that original experience until about a year later I have visited this restaurant about 15 times. It is truly a great experience in terms of service as well as the quality of food you receive. It was topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. After a seemingly long wait the sandwich was delivered to our table. It was served open face and thankfully the pickles were on the side (I’m not a pickle fan). The sandwich looked huge, the two generously sized chicken patties resulted in a thick sandwich. Biting into the…

The Burger @ Good Enough to Eat

I met up with an old friend for lunch today and we decided to go to my wife’s favorite brunch spot, Good Enough to Eat. It’s conveniently located in my neighborhood, Manhattan’s Upper West Side. I usually go to Good Enough to Eat for Sunday brunch and have their superb cinnamon swirl french toast. This was my second time there for lunch and my first lunch since they moved to their new location. After checking out the menu I decided to go with “The Burger”. It’s described as “8 oz. of our blend of ground beef on a pepper roll with French fries, lettuce, tomato and pickle … with jalapeño…
